Keylong Museum
The Keylong Museum, dedicated to the tribal art and cultural heritage of the region, is located at Keylong. The museum houses a collection of archaeological finds, Thangka paintings, traditional artefacts and objects representing the everyday life and material culture of Lahaul & Spiti before the introduction of modern mechanised equipment.
The collection also includes manuscripts written in Bhoti script and documents in the Tankri script, providing valuable insight into the region’s history, traditions and cultural heritage.
The museum complex also includes an auditorium for hosting cultural programmes and events.

Kyuling Museum, Spiti
At Kyuling in Spiti, the descendants of the Nono of Spiti, the hereditary ruling authority of the region under the historical administrative system, have established a small museum displaying traditional artefacts and objects associated with the cultural heritage of Spiti.
